Shelley Marie is a fine art newborn photographer based in Brooklyn, New York. She specializes in naturally-lit, styled newborn photos and family portraits. Most newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your own home, using the natural window-light in your home or baby’s nursery. During newborn sessions, your baby is obviously the focus of our time together. I spend most of our session posing your newborn into comfy, sleepy positions; but I also make sure to capture photos of your family all together, and to document your little one's tiny details which will grow and change so fast. When Should You Book?
Booking your session 2-4 months in advance gives us time to plan out your session, order custom newborn props
(in time for them to arrive!), and make sure your photo session is truly unique.
Maternity sessions are best captured around your 32nd-35th week of pregnancy,
Newborns should be photographed between 8-12 days old.
I schedule only a limited number of portrait & newborn sessions per month, so it's best to book your session as soon as possible!
