The Huang Family
Brooklyn Maternity Photography - We're Pregnant!
After moving across the country, a long sabbatical from photography, a worldwide pandemic, and a whole new season of life later, we find ourselves loving living in NYC, and even planning to start a family here. We are excited to say that we’re expecting our own little babe in March! A girl. And we couldn’t be more excited!!
Since baby girl will be born in winter, we felt it was fitting to capture maternity photos in the snow. We didn’t necessarily mean to do an entire maternity shoot. We just looked out the window one day and spontaneously said, “It’s snowing!! Let’s grab the tripod and go take some photos!!” It was nearly 15 degrees outside, but the photos came out so cute, we just kept snapping more!! And that’s the story of how we accidentally captured our own maternity photos, haha! I love how they turned out.
Thanks Joe, for enduring the cold, and venturing on this wild journey to parenthood with me. Love you!
Farewell For Now….
It is with a heavy (but excited) heart that after 8 years in business, I must say goodbye… for now. In an unexpected turn of events, my husband and I were offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and as a result, we are excited to announce that:
We Have Moved to New York City!
It was totally unexpected, and a massive leap of faith, but we are SO excited for this fun, new adventure in the Big Apple. Sadly, my business will not be coming with us, so I am no longer booking photography sessions. We absolutely adore Portland, and still think of it as home, so there’s a chance we may move back in a few years’ time! But until then, our new address will be in New York City.
After over a decade of dedicating my life to photography, and capturing the incredibly heartwarming life-events of my clients, I just couldn’t part with my website, (which I spent many, many hours working on, haha!). So for now, I will keep it alive, here on the interwebs, in remembrance of my years spent capturing moments in time, and of all the amazing people I got to meet along the way.
To my clients, thank you for all the wonderful memories.
I hope to see you again someday.
