I'm so excited to have one of my images in the running for the cover of Chic Magazine! The next theme for the cover is Color, and when I ran across this image of Erica that I captured earlier this year, I couldn't think of a more perfect image to submit! The cherry blossoms in full bloom made a beautiful pink backdrop for her handmade flower crown.
Hopefully, this image of Erica will end up on the cover of Chic...we won't find out which image wins until January 2015!
Several weeks ago, Erica and I ventured to Waterfront Park to see the cherry blossoms in bloom. Erica is so sweet and feminine that she fit perfectly into the soft pink backdrop we picked for her. She even brought along a handmade flower crown, made by a friend, to add detail to her shoot. I may be biased, but I just adore every one of these images!! Styled shoots are my absolute favorite and Erica did a fantastic job pulling together all the different elements for her session. Erica, you are beautiful inside and out. Thanks for letting me photograph you! :)
