Everybody! Meet my beautiful mama!! She came to visit me for a week and my husband and I were able to take her on her very first trip to the Oregon Coast! If you know my mom, you'll know that she loves to explore, exercise and hike to see beautiful places! Last year when she visited for our wedding we didn't have time to visit the coast, but this time around I had it at the top of my list! I just knew she would love it! And as you can probably tell from the photos... She did.
Mini Acordion Books
I just love my 3x3" Mini Accordion Books! I've offered them for a while, but thought I would share a little bit about them for those of you who have never seen them before! These little keepsakes are a great way to show off photos from your session, but not only that, they're also great little gifts for friends and family! Mini Accordion Books have ten 3x3" folded panels filled with pictures from your session, as well as two photo-wrapped covers containing a magnetic closure to keep them shut when not in use. These books are small and compact, making them much easier to carry around than something larger like an album. They also come with a frosted case (not pictured) so they can easily be carried around in your pocket or purse without getting damaged and always be on hand when you want to show off your favorite images from a session! Next time someone asks to see pictures of your kids, instead of pulling out a dated and bent picture from your wallet, impress friends with a Mini Accordion Book filled with beautiful images from your session. You'll love the look on their faces, wishing they had one too!

Ryan Vandordrecht
My mom is in town from Florida for one week only, and this past Friday night, she flew in town just in time for us to drive to see my husband playing with Ryan Vandordrecht on stage at the Doug Fir Lounge! They are currently in production of their first full CD, so keep a lookout for it this Fall! Their set was so great, I couldn't help snapping a few photos for my blog! Here are a few shots from their show:

V+M "Branscoli" Wedding
Congratulations to this super sweet duo!! I was overwhelmed with how heartfelt and sincere this wedding was. Their laid-back ceremony took place in the backyard of an old firehouse, and each guest stood and watched to see their union take place. As the bride read out her vows, the emotion and sweetness of her words nearly brought the entire crowd to tears. For a moment I wished I had been a videographer instead, only so that I could capture their beautiful words. Even having known the couple for only a short amount of time, I too had tears flooding down my face by the end of the ceremony. It is the kind of love you can feel just by being in the presence of it. Just like the newlywed couple, the whole wedding was joyous, fun, simple and sweet. Nowadays, so many weddings turn into over-the-top productions, but this minimalist couple brought weddings back to their roots and reminded us of what is truly important on a wedding day--the love of two individuals, and nothing else.
Congratulations Vince and Mallory! I feel so honored and blessed that I was there to witness your beautiful wedding! It is one I will always cherish and never forget.
And no Portland wedding is complete without some adorably unique cake toppers and an assortment of pies to eat!!! (For dinner and dessert!)
