Alona - Portland Newborn Photography
Meet Alona. The poo princess.
I got to photograph Alona's older sister, Abigail, last year back when she was a newborn, and let me say, these two are a feisty bunch! All within the first couple hours of Alona's newborn session, Abigail had burped up milk all over the stairs, Alona pooped 3 separate times, yellow goo oozing through her mesh swaddling wraps (and 3 layers of blankets), and narrowly escaped peeing on my camera. After many cleanups, wet-wipes, and background changes later, we were finally successful in getting her to fall peacefully asleep....which lasted about 5 minutes, until she comically pee'd and woke herself back up.
I guess that's what I get for wanting to photograph naked babies!! Nonetheless, Alona was a doll, just like her sister, and I am overjoyed with the beautiful portraits we were able to capture of her!
Erica - Waterfront Park Portrait Photography
Several weeks ago, Erica and I ventured to Waterfront Park to see the cherry blossoms in bloom. Erica is so sweet and feminine that she fit perfectly into the soft pink backdrop we picked for her. She even brought along a handmade flower crown, made by a friend, to add detail to her shoot. I may be biased, but I just adore every one of these images!! Styled shoots are my absolute favorite and Erica did a fantastic job pulling together all the different elements for her session. Erica, you are beautiful inside and out. Thanks for letting me photograph you! :)
Kaisha - Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden Portrait Photography
So I basically love this girl. One of the best parts about my job, is when photo shoots turn into friendships. Not only is Kaisha absolutely beautiful, but she's adorable and fun, sweet and kind, and off her rocker funny. She's the type of girl you could spend every afternoon with, laughing until you cry, and just plain enjoying life with. We met by chance, hit it off immediately, became fast friends, and have been nearly inseparable ever since. It was like discovering a best friend I didn't know I had. A friendship I am truly grateful to now have.
Here are some photos from our session a couple weeks ago at the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden.
Fun fact about Kaisha: She's a photographer too!! Go check out her lifestyle photography at klisbethphotography.squarespace.com
