The Nines Wedding - Sammie and Brady
This beautiful elopement took place at the Nines in downtown Portland. Sammie & Brady wanted to celebrate their love in a elegant and modern way, surrounded by just their closest friends and family. The Nines is vibrant and artsy in every way -- the perfect setting for their urban, downtown wedding. Sammie got ready in the morning in one of their beautiful suites with her best friend, Andrea, by her side. We met up with Brady for their first look and then continued around the hotel for some portraits before their ceremony. The highlight for portraits though, was definitely getting to shoot at Departure Lounge, the Nines' rooftop restaurant balcony. Located on the 15th-floor in the middle of downtown, we had a gorgeous view of the city as the backdrop for their portraits. A special treat, indeed.

Portland Maternity Photography - The Keenan Family
I'm not going to lie.... these two have a special place in my heart. These two individuals are a couple of the sweetest people you will ever meet, and to see that their family is growing just makes my heart happy. We started their session near the Portland waterfront to get some great shots of the Portland bridges in the background, and then travelled onward to Washington Park to capture Oregon's beautiful greenery. In typical Portland fashion, it even started raining towards the end of the session to truly give it an authentic pacific NW feel. Love these two so much! Thanks again Keenan family for enduring the rain with me. I had so much fun getting to know you both.
Pearl District Portland Maternity Photos - Mona & Derek
This sweet couple just had their very first baby, and I am so excited for them!! Portland’s Pearl District is a sentimental spot for Mona & Derek, so we knew their maternity portraits should take place there. Not to mention, Mona and Derek are avid art collectors and love spending their free time exploring the Pearl’s many art galleries. Their session happened to land on First Thursday, the day of the month where Art galleries on 13th Avenue open their doors and hold a street festival for art lovers in Portland! We walked down 13th Avenue, capturing photos of Mona & Derek along they way, and finished our session just before the crowds began to arrive. The fall colors were just starting to turn vibrant, and Mona’s beautiful bright red dress looked stunning next to Derek’s blues.
